We are currently using barKoder SDK in two projects related to Factory & Logistics Track and Trace processes. barKoder SDK is used here by our apps running on industrial Mobile Computers, like the Zebra TC series.

Workflows that made us look into software-based barcode scanning
We did not face real workflows challenges, but user experience & mobility requirements. By using software-based barcode scanning, we were able to deliver to our clients the tools to ensure their daily jobs, related of course to Track & Trace.
Solution
We evaluated two players: barKoder & Scandit
barKoder offers a major advantage with its ease of integration and broad platform support. In terms of performance, barKoder was comparable to, and in some cases outperformed, ScandIt. The snappiness, usability and simplicity of the product were crucial for our decision. Another crucial moment was that the barKoder team provided us with a high quality of support and reactivity in terms of new features requests (example: QR DPM use-case development that previously wasn't available).
